Cycling4Palestine was inspired by the initiative "Cycling4Gaza" commenced by a group of concerned young people in the UK in response to the 22 day war on Gaza in 2008.

Welfare Association for Youth (WAY) Jordan started organizing the initiative "Cycling4Palestine" at the Deadsea- Jordan in 2010 to later become one of the WAY staple annual events supporting a different project every time.

Our team believes in youth capabilities as change agents and in their ability to contribute to the development of the Palestinian community. Through working with other youth groups, Cycling for Palestine aims to build a wider network of engaged young people and raise awareness about the situation in Palestine.
