”Naturally as a Palestinian I’ve always had an interest in learning more about Palestine and the struggles that we face as a nation inside and outside the Holy Land. It was during my trip to Palestine with the Welfare Association in 2011 that I began to better understand the extent of the hardships that Palestinians have to deal with on a daily basis. As a result, I took a personal oath to do all that is in my power to raise awareness and help Palestinian youth by reaching out to as many people as possible worldwide. With this said, i decided to combine my craving for adventure with my passion for Palestine and came up with the idea of climbing Kilimanjaro for Gaza. This Kilimanjaro challenge represents the Gaza strive that we all need to take to help a situation which looks impossible to accomplish, But with every little step we take we start to realize that with our efforts and determination impossibilities will start to vanish.”
